B2 Atelier is pleased to present Inner Architectures, a solo exhibition by Sergiu Ciochina.

Born in the Republic of Moldova and now based in Paris, Ciochina builds upon a rigorous academic foundation while deliberately pushing beyond classical figuration. His elongated, fragmented bodies function as psychological structures rather than anatomical studies. Proportion bends under emotional pressure; colour intensifies inner states.

Figures appear suspended in intimate, often ambiguous environments. Classical motifs — including the nude — are reinterpreted through contemporary expression, where subtle line and deliberate distortion articulate vulnerability, tension, and introspection. The body becomes both container and revelation.

Within Inner Architectures, Ciochina proposes painting as a site of confrontation — a space where concealed emotion takes form and shared human fragility becomes visible. The works invite recognition not through narrative, but through presence.
