B2 Atelier is pleased to present Veiled Narratives, a solo exhibition by Jacqueline Bislimi, known artistically as ApoloniArtjack.

Bislimi creates a symbolic visual language shaped by silence, ornament, and introspection. Her paintings merge portraiture and pattern, presenting frontal, contemplative figures surrounded by geometric motifs and luminous fields of colour. Ornament functions as metaphor rather than decoration — encoding memory, ancestry, and transformation. Faces remain serene and partially guarded, suggesting interior worlds that unfold gradually. Mythic references and archetypal feminine presence lend the works a timeless, meditative quality.

Through layered surface and symbolic repetition, Veiled Narratives proposes identity as veiled yet enduring — revealed not through declaration, but through stillness and subtle visual language.

Jacqueline Bislimi

Jacqueline Bislimi is a contemporary artist whose creative journey spans from the vibrant ateliers of Paris to the tranquil landscapes of Geneva. Guided by an enduring need to create, she first trained as a fashion designer before pursuing studies in Beaux-Arts in Switzerland — a transition that allowed her practice to expand into embroidery, pattern design, and painting.

Her artistic language has evolved from abstraction toward a contemporary figurative expression enriched with symbolism and emotional nuance. Drawing from her background in fashion, Bislimi approaches composition with a sensitivity to structure, texture, and detail, while her fine art training deepens the narrative and conceptual layers within each work.

Painting with the spirit of a dreamer and the curiosity of an explorer, Jacqueline Bislimi reveals hidden details, unspoken emotions, and stories that unfold beyond the visible. Her works invite viewers to step into a space of mystery and introspection, where texture becomes language and symbolism opens pathways to discovery. There is no prescribed direction — only the quiet promise of exploration within each canvas.
